One Big Tent now offers Bike Love
for adults in our community!
OBT will provide bikes to adults over 18 years of age who are at or below 200% Federal Poverty Level and live in Portage County, Wisconsin. Bike Love will only provide one bicycle per person each year as supplies last. We welcome people of all races and ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, nationalities, and religious or non-religious backgrounds.
Request a Bicycle
Meet with a companion at OBT during normal hours to request a bicycle. You must be 18 years or older, live and/or work in Portage County, and be at or below 200% Federal Poverty Level. After your application is approved, OBT will contact you to schedule a pick up day (typically Fridays, but other options available by request).
Donate Helmets, Locks and Lights
Help us launch our new Bike Love program by bringing new, adult helmets, durable combination bike locks, and lights to One Big Tent during our normal office hours. The Safety Center in Stevens Point sells quality adult helmets at an affordable price.
Donate Bicycles
Please contact us to discuss a potential bicycle donation. Due to space and capacity limits, we are unable to accept bikes that need repairs. OBT will accept bicycles in good repair on a limited basis. Please email us a photo and the brand of the bicycle to [email protected] for our review and we will set up a date for you to drop off the bike at OBT if it meets our standards. Please do not drop off bikes without approval.
